Tips For Chosing The Perfect ATV Mud Tires

Where I come from, everyone rides all-terrain vehicles. It seems like they hold a different attraction for each person. My cousin Bill loves the sound that they make. The loud roar of the engine gives him chills. My other cousin, Sam, likes the way they buck and pitch over the hills. He loves that feeling of being on the edge of control more than anything else. For me, strange as it may seem, the thrill is all about the ATV mud tires. The way those off road tires kick up the earth in their wake, digging into the ground, thrills me to the core.

My fascination with ATV mud tires began with a near fatal accident when I was a kid. You wouldn't think that this is something that would make me appreciate off road tires, but then again, I was never a typical young lad. I would always wander around in dangerous areas. I would find my way into construction sites, the middle of the highway, and ATV off-roading dunes. It was this last destination that almost cost me my life, but which gave me my fascination with ATV mud tires. They just looked so huge and powerful as they lumbered past my head. I knew I had to ride that machine one day. I have been riding ever since.

Of course, my fascination with ATV mud tires has given way to and fascination with off-road ATVs in general. I have changed ATV mud tires many times, repainted my all-terrain vehicle, and done all kinds of repairs on it. I have even taken apart a four wheeler ATV and put it back together just to see how it works.

The best part of it, however, is the riding. I know that from outside it looks like a silly sport for yahoos, but once you get on the back of an ATV you will be hooked for life. Even my grandfather goes off road ATV riding from time to time. When you first see the ATV mud tires kick up a trail and feel the engine power the beast forward, you will be hooked just like I was. You really have to try it! It is beyond belief! My mother always tries to tell me that I should quit. She says that ATVs cause more deaths than anything else in our little town. But I always tell her the same thing. I never feel so alive as when I am riding my ATV.
