Where To Find The Best Anti Bush Sticker

I hate falling into patterns of binary thinking, but I can't help feel that, in this day and age, being anti Bush means being pro-democracy.  Honestly, I have never even bothered getting anti Bush stickers for my car, as I thought they would be unnecessary.  I figured that the very fact that I can speak in complete sentences and do not drool on myself means that I obviously have the brainpower to understand that Bush has done more to ruin this country than anyone at any time in history.  Although I think an anti Bush sticker is cute, it only just occurred to me that anyone could not be against Bush at this point.

What is so interesting about anti Bush stickers is that they do not even have to mention our so-called president by name.  For example, in Berkeley where I live, what is perhaps the most popular anti Bush sticker reads: if you are not outraged, you're not paying attention.  Bush has done so much to plunge us into a state of national emergency, starting wars all over the world, destroying our civil liberties, and turning a national surplus into a huge national debt – the biggest one in history – that anti Bush bumper stickers are almost universal.  The only people who don't have them are people like me who see it as unnecessary.

Of course an anti Bush sticker may be a good start, but they are only a start after all.  Bush, after all, has killed thousands of American troops, and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians, as well is illegally detaining citizens of this country and others in secret prisons and torturing them.  Having an anti Bush sticker on their cars is good because it shows where we stand, but if we cannot get him impeached before his presidency ends, we'll be complicit with perhaps the greatest war criminal of the century so far.  Do we really all want that on our consciences?

After getting your car all decked out with anti Bush sticker, you should think of at least going to a demonstration now and then.  Demonstrations against Bush can only be ignored by the media for so long, and already people are seeing how unpopular the president is.  It is only a matter of time before the anti Bush sticker and anti Bush protests convince Congress to take some action.
